Lord Richard of Arshen
Richard:
Richard is an exiled lord of the holdfast of Arshen. His father was deposed and killed in a violent uprising some time ago. One day, Richard hopes to return to his home.

Physical Description:
Tall, pale, slim with long black hair and his eyes are bright green. He is classically handsome and has a noble disposition. He dresses in fine clothing. He wears a red tunic with black pants and a hooded, black overcloak. Richard does not tend to use weapons, but rather utilizes his companions' martial talents and augments those with his magical abilities.

Richard is driven by both his curiosity and his morality. Both end up pulling him into situations that most others would avoid. He often prefers to talk his way out of problems, but has no compunctions about using force when it is required.
Dislikes:
Richard dislikes wasted opportunities and the loss of potential avenues of knowledge, wealth, or gain. He dislikes people acting dishonorably and those that use tasteless, senseless violence that serves no purpose.
Companions:
Charles: He is garbed in the dark robes of a monk. His face and hands are obscured. He does not speak to anyone other Richard, as he has taken a vow of silence. Charles has long been associated with Richard's family and is dedicated to serving Richard.
James: He is a Warforged that serves as Richard's bodyguard. He cannot speak to anyone, but he seems to be able to understand human speech. He is a tough and loyal companion.
