PARTICIPANTS: LOCKED Karla Aiden Akasha Keran Despite the near death nature of the caravan trip, the party has managed to make their way safely to Osaka with all of the passengers and caravan intact. Despite it being fairly late in the evening, the market streets of Osaka are bustling with activity as peddlers and respectable merchants alike continue to push their wares to the night owl crowd. The party has, but a few hours of respite before beginning the journey back home. A lot was left unsaid during the mission, whether it was out a sense of urgency, professionalism, or apathy; this presents the perfect opportunity to correct that for those who wish.

From a nearby store Akasha can be heard raising up a storm with the shopkeep.
"You call this rejuvenation balm?! This half diluted with an itch ointment! Do you take me for a fool?!"
"I will not quite down! Tell me, do you just try to cheat me or do you cheat all of your customers? Should I tell the Ladies of House Ortell that the reason their skin keeps on breaking out in rashes is because you've been selling faulty goods to them?"
After that the noise coming from the shop quiets down. Several minutes later, Akasha can be seen walking out with a satisfied if not smug grin on her face, and a small leather bag. As she gets closer to the carriage runs her finger down a large scar running from her throat down her chest.
"I suppose I shouldn't wear a low-cut shirt for a few weeks. Speaking of low-cut."
Akasha marches up to Karla, and leans in very closely to whisper.
"So tell me, do you usually completely abandon your post, charge in by yourself, endanger the entire mission, the lives of those you were charged with defending, and the lives of your comrades? Or was today just a special occasion?"

she only recently got back to the cart after picking up a couple of important things in response to how the mission went then slide back to her private corner of the cart still reeling over what happened earlier looks up from the floor as she speaks,
"Akasha was it... There was a living breathing person that was thrown from her horse, and immediately jumped on and is in the middle of being torn limb from limb... and you expected to approach casually and carefully? Aiden was mere seconds behind me and I was able to pull most of the beasts from tearing her apart by drawing them to me. There was no apes near the cart. Everyone that joined up is expected to carry their own weight and I can vouch that we all did the best we could, a woman's life was saved barely and that was due to me getting in there so quickly. Could you of saved that woman without running up? She was on the edge of death itself just as you were, but more important... I'm quite disgusted that you dare to insult and put salt on a wound of a fellow soldier. You should be tending to your own and fellow comrades wounds. You attempt to tell me I made a mistake by saving a life, when I'am already willing to put my life, and those that signed up lives' on the line to save someone else's life especially if its towards our end goal. I was confident in my abilities to take those things on, and sure I may of been wrong but that is something for me to go over with myself ESPECIALLY if nobody fell. Its not your job to tell me what to do or how to do it. I follow Heroshi's orders and if he told me to take you down I would without missing even the slightest drop of hesitation. I won't tell you what to do or how to do it, nor will I judge you for your choices. We are equals and equals don't judge one another. If we stayed together we would of ended the same... all alive maybe with less injury but we would of found a dead helpless woman before us and be surprised that she was one of us all along. If we are ever put on a mission together again I will willingly throw my life aside to protect you no matter what you decided to you or how to do it I would not even begin to consider to judge you or your actions."
She looks back to the floor still quite disappointed with herself
"Now back the fuck off... comrade... and don't question my actions again it. is. not. your. gorram. place."

Akasha only moves closer, until her nose almost touches Karla's.
"This is precisely my point. You claim to stick to your chain of command, yet you lack the most crucial aspect of a soldier: the mission. Your job was to guard the caravan, not perform random heroics. We were lucky this time: That the elder was there. That Aiden made it to you just in time. We were lucky that the apes you DID let past you only came after me and Keran. Would any of these conditions have not come to us by the stroke of luck, most if not all of us would be dead. The passengers of the caravan, dead. The mission that the man you admire so much trusted you with? A failure."
After a moment of silence, Akasha moves back, and looks towards her other comrades, but continues speaking to Karla, only no longer whispering.
"Don't get me wrong, I have no intention of lecturing you or questioning your actions. What's done is done, and that cannot be changed. In the end your actions resulted in the best case scenario. I just wanted to warn you, that you are reckless. That recklessness is like an orb of entropy. For now, by luck it hasn't done too much harm. But one day that luck will run out, and that entropy will detonate, killing yourself and everyone who is foolish enough to be close to you. Heed my words if you wish, for this is the last time I will speak of this: if you value life so much, maybe next you should consider the value of the lives you endanger with your actions."
Her gaze will fixate on Keran as she says that.

the rest seems to go through one ear and out the other for the most part but she does make a reply especially after you turn towards Keran
"You seem to think as I sit her sulking... wounded and feeling downright miserable that I don't know these things and need to be told by you what for. I know all the wrong that happened, I don't go running head first into a stampeding deer herd or challenging a demon that is sure to be able to tear me limb from limb if I dare not flee. I bite off what I believe I can chew... and I was wrong, dead wrong to be precise. You won't see me ever... ever making a mistake like such again you can be sure of it, but don't go around staring down every member of your squad without considering what mistakes you may of made yourself. Leave Keran alone... we all took more than our fair share of blows. Mission is done, we are all adults and know what we did wrong, back the fuck off of everyone RECRUIT. Save your concerns for Heroshi and leave them with him. Join a different squad or avoid missions we decide to partake in if your so perfect."
she coughs up a spattering of blood into her hand and laughs,
"ran my mouth so much in defense of myself and our squad that I opened up a wound, thanks."
she closes her eyes and tries to take a nap to recover

"I'm glad you're coming around to see that, hopefully you will follow through with that before it's too late. I will leave you to your rest."
As Akasha walks away. She turns back for a moment.
"But you are mistaken about one thing. I have no blame for Keran. He was merely a victim."

A kingdom shall fall for power. There was no need for it since the group had arrived in Osaka, but Keran remained atop the carriage out of comfort. The fresh air was rather helpful and he slowly took a few deep breaths. Bandaged wounds throbbed at the simple act, but it was a pain he could bear without grimace. The air bustled with noise despite the night sky, and he closed his eyes and allowed himself to be lost in it.
Well… until he heard a familiar voice which caught Keran’s interest. His eyes opened and he carefully rolled over to the edge of the carriage’s roof to look over. The two ladies of the group “conversed”, or more accurately argued, in two very different tones. He did not go unnoticed as Akasha looked up towards him, and he met her gaze with a slight frown.
While slightly annoyed by the pair’s heroics, Keran could not deny their skill. Really, what irked him more about the entire situation had been a lack of forewarning. His assumption that the mission came first clearly was echoed by Akasha, but he left Karla to her nap undisturbed. There would be time to clear things up before they returned to the road.
“More like baggage,” Keran muttered as he raised a hand to wave at Akasha. “Then again, seems like there’s a pair of heroes who can’t help but shoulder such burdens, so I guess it’s all right.”

Having said what needed to be said to Karla, with a sigh of satisfaction. Akasha begins to strut over to Keran who's resting on top of the carriage. With a flick of her wrist she hurled a small wooden box over to Keran from her leather pouch. The object is cylindrical in shape, with a strong lavender scent. The twisted grooves betray it's nature as as container.
"It won't help the wound heal faster, but it will help with the scarring. Apply twice a day until the scarring fades, usually a couple of weeks."
"Oh, and don't worry about paying me back. This one's free."

A kingdom shall fall for power. Keran kept an eye on Akasha as she approached, and raised an eyebrow in interest at what she produced from her pouch. A raised hand caught the cylindrical container without much trouble, and he quickly became aware of the powerful scent that seeped through the wood. Not something he could use while working then…
Nonetheless he watched her as she explained, and ran a finger across the bandages. “I suppose there’s a fairly fine line between charming and disfiguring.” The beast’s claws had nearly disemboweled him, leaving twin wounds from waist to just slightly beneath his ribs. “But thank you Miss. Smerti. It’s much appreciated.”
