Appearance: Keran is considered rather fair skinned for a citizen of Hyza. Of average height at 5’8”, his physique is not particularly notable. He seems a bit weak in fact despite his good health, but carries himself with noticeable grace. Vibrant red eyes cut a rather sharp contrast with his raven hair, but otherwise his appearance is rather forgettable. His clothing is much the same, and can generally be found on almost any random traveler on the road. Beneath his cloak he wears a leather lamellar cuirass, and is well armed with four wakizashis hooked to two belts. His longbow is carried on his back while the quiver sits at his right hip.

Personality: A self-centered individual, Keran can be counted on to put his own concerns before any others. He cares little for people he does not know, but can be a fairly reliable ally to those he trusts; just don’t expect the ultimate sacrifice from him. Making acquaintances and friends is not an active endeavor he pursues, but he does not hold himself at a distance either and is quite content to converse with others. While not a particularly powerful personality, he’s a decent conversationalist and fairly polite.

The desire for personal improvement is what drives Keran forward, and as a result he is generally a reliable ally in combat; he strives to meet martial challenges head on, and is not particularly averse to injury. He does attempt to work with others and cooperate to increase their effectiveness as a group, but is not the most disciplined person and will take opportunities that present themselves, even if it may conflict with given orders.

At a glance: His past is not something Keran shares with random strangers, and as such very little is known about him. Kept hidden from the public for much of his life, even those who know of his father, Ordel Tyrios, may only recognize a passing similarity.
