Welcome dear friends and allies to Chiyo. In this universe things are not "Always" as RAW (read as written) and more usually its RAI (read as intended.)
Sometimes even that is not enough, for a special character like you! So there is a place to request something that might make you a little more unique.

Want a feat like "Focused Shot" to work with firearms? Done deal. RAI the feat was made before gunslinger or guns were a thing and RAI it would work with firearms. In the case of "Focused Shot" its a easy request that takes little to no effort on your end to get approved. Sometimes though, a custom feat/ trait/ item/ whatever is wanted. That is where Your efforts, backstory, balancing skills, and understanding come into play. You want something special You have to earn it.
Even then though it is NOT guaranteed.
Things like, "it was in 3.5 rules" is not simply enough to get it allowed, and asking in such a format will get your request swiftly denied. Expect middle grounds, and compromises as a common response. If what You want can be gained through first party Paizo rules its expected that is how you get it. Things like, "can my mount count as this creature assuming its in chiyo, but have the stat block of something first party?" are also great requests.
