After events in the sewers, Aeneas heard about the supposed death of Aiden, one of the only few people that Aeneas refers to as a friend, and the one who gave Aeneas his trademark nickname "Anus." Before he herd about this, he gave his divine familiar Isiah, to Juniper, a recruit who is experienced with animals. Aeneas grieves for his friend and was left alone before being called into action as a magical storm was causing troubles to the New Dawn. Aeneas joined, putting his grief on hold and had both a heated moment with Juniper and an inspiring one. Before he left, he gave Juniper his cloak he got from Wazuka Iseri, his caretaker and whom he calls his mother. He awaits in the woods to continue his grief and to receive both his familiar and his cloak. Aeneas is currently attacking a tree with his katana, with hate and tears filling his eyes, a sight no one in the New Dawn has seen. Characters: Juniper ( Mothbile )

J uniper could hear the distant sounds of blade slashing against wood. She followed the noise closer and closer until she came upon Aeneas hacking away at a random tree. She approached cautiously, keeping her distance while she held his little white ferret and cloak close to her chest. "Aeneas . . . ? Aeneas," she piped up, "please, stop, You're hurting the tree."

Aeneas stops instantly, drops his katana, turns around covering his eyes with his left arm in an attempt to hide his face. However, tears are seen falling. "Who is it! What do you want!"

"C alm down," she said in a soft, but firm voice, "it's me, Juniper." She frowned at the obvious tears that streaked down the man's face. Juniper pressed her lips into a tight line as she shifted in her place, turning her eyes downwards to the bundle in her arms. "I wanted to bring back your friend. And your cloak."

Aeneas moves his arm out of his face. He walks towards Juniper and grabs his cloak and Isiah.
"I bet you think this is funny. Well I'm going to let you know, monsters don't cry. We don't have emotions, only hate and malice. That's what they tell you in the stories. Well they're true, I am living proof of that.
He says this as his eye glow crimson read and attempt to look ferocious but cannot. They appear similar to a puppy's pain.

"I don't find it funny at all," she said. "And I see no monster in front of me. I see someone hurt and upset." Even with Aeneas' best attempt to scare Juniper away, she meets his gaze squarely. No looking down, no glances away, she keeps a firm stare. "What's wrong?"

"Why does it matter to you?"
Aeneas turns around and picks up his sword and sheaths it.
"I don't have any friends. I did have a friend but he is now no more. This is probably Oroboros's way of punishing me. Aiden was my friend, he was my only friend that I've ever made, and now he's gone."
Aeneas lifts up his shirt revealing deep scars all over his torso.
"These were not earned in battle. These were given to me by people. Monster, demons, Shiroyasha, I wear these with pride and Aiden didn't call me those, but that doesn't matter now. Aiden is gone and I'm back to where I was before I got here. What's it to you?"
Aeneas says, covering his face with his bat like wings. Tears still fall down his face, but he eventually gets somewhat of a grip of his speech

J uniper furrowed her brows at him. "Aiden? Why, he's alive! Didn't you see him in the mess hall? Before the mission? He was just fine. Exhausted, but fine. He's sleeping back at the estate after an exhausting trek back here." Juniper took a step back and crossed her arms. "If you don't believe me, ask the others from our recent mission. They all saw him stumble in."

Aeneas's eyes widen.
"What! Hiroshi said he died! I cried in front of you. Dammit, I'm going to kick Hiroshi's ass for this."
He looks and Juniper and blushes out pure embarrassment.
"The gods have a sense of humor. I was opening up-, nevermind. Great, now you're not afraid of me anymore. This is a problem. What do I do now."
Aeneas buries his face in his hands, averting all eye contact.
"thank you, I don't know how to speak to women, normally every woman I meet wants to kill me or stone me. I owe you something, name it ant it will be done."

S he shook her head at him. "No, really. It's fine. And if you're going to be stubborn again, just go back and see Aiden for me. I don't want to see you all glum again." She then offered a small smile. "I'm sure Aiden will appreciate the company."

"I-um, can we pretend we didn't see this." Aeneas says with a red face. "I don't want you to think me any less than what I am. I'm a warrior, a brick wall. Promise me you won't tell anyone about this. I don't want them to think any less of me, very important."
Aeneas stands up, then turns around and gives a bow.
"A samurai never forgets his debts and I will make this up to you. You're a cleric, I'm a paladin, it's my job to make sure you don't die. I will not do what Karla did. Anyways I'm babbling, I need to go beat Aiden in to the earth's core."
As he walks away, he turns around again.
"I'm sorry I don't know how to properly thank you. I have bad experience with girls, they don't me."
